In Tuesday’s Athletic Events.....

The Girls Varsity Water Polo Team (9-8) beat Krop in the District Semifinals 16-11. Briana Dunn led the way with 3 goals, 4 assists, 3 steals, Valeria Villanueva 4 goals, 2 steals, Sasha Blasky had 2 goals, 2 assists, 2 steals, Isa Possin added 2 goals, 2 assists, 1 steal, Leyla Fernandez had 2 goals, 1 assist, Sienna Kozlovski added 2 goals, Micah Ressler had 1 goal, 2 assists , Melissa Soares had 3 assists, Yaya Carafelli added 1 assist, 2 steals, Michelle Rodriguez had 1 assist, Angie Del Guercio-Moran made 6 blocks and had 4 steals. 

 

The Boys Varsity Water Polo Team (9-10) beat South Broward in the District Semifinals 16-3. Leo Blaya led the team with four goals, Evan Miller and Conrad Simpson each scored three goals, Max Possin and Luca Aceto scored twice, Stephan Lopez and Thiago Ometto each added one goal, and Rafa Blaya recorded eleven saves. 

 

The Girls Varsity Lacrosse Team (7-6) lost to Pine Crest 21-10. Isabella Galofre led the way with 5 goals and an assist, Niki Rivero had 3 goals and an assist, Olivia Pelletier added a goal and 3 assists, Mikaela Tolles scored, Madelyn Pelletier added an assist, and Maria Carstensen made 5 saves. 

 

Today.......The Middle School Baseball Team hosts Riviera Prep at 3:30pm, the Varsity Baseball Team hosts Marathon at 6pm, the Girls and Boys Varsity Water Polo Teams compete for their respective District Championships at 4:30/6pm, the Girls and Boys Middle School Tennis Teams host Ransom Everglades at 3pm. Food Trucks will be on campus today from 3-8pm....JJ Gelato and Street Twist American Cuisine.
