Bus Transportation
Miami Country Day School is excited to offer Spartan Bus Transportation service to all Miami Country Day families. Transportation begins August 24, 2020, and Registration is Now Open!
Student safety is first priority, in addition to cleaning and sanitation protocols, our flee features
an On-Board Safety Coordinator, Camera Surveillance System, GPS Tracking, and automatic notifications of boarding and drop off.

- Submit your online Bus Transportation Registration Form through My Country Day, via the online form, or email transportation@miamicountryday.org
- Transportation will be added to your Smart Tuition account

How do I pay?

Why choose the Spartan Bus?
The Spartan Bus isn't like other transportation services available because it's run by MCDS employees exclusevly for our students. MCDS ensures that our students and parents have the best experience possible by providing the following features: -
What is the Spartan Bus?
Spartan Bus is a safe, reliable, and comfortable bus transportation service that will be offered by Miami Country Day School, which is scheduled to begin August 19, 2019. -
How do I reserve a spot?
Each student will have a spot reserved on the Spartan Bus after their parent or guardian completes the Transportation Enrollment Form. Please note that a form is required for every student in order to reserve each student's spot on the Spartan Bus. -
What routes are offered?
Pickup and drop off locations are offered in the following areas (routes).- Miami Beach (South)
- Miami Beach (North)
- Bal Harbour/Bay Harbor Islands/Keystone Point
- Sunny Isles/Golden Beach/Hallandale
- Aventura
- Brickell

How much does the Spartan Bus Cost?
$1,730 for round-trip service per semester, or $3,460 for both semesters.

If a child is enrolled in after school activities, will there be a bus route at that time?
Yes, there will be a bus departing at 4:30pm. -
If I sign up for the entire year, does that also include summer camps?
The Spartan Bus service currently enrolls students for the academic school year only. We provide bus service on days when our academic classes are in session. This excludes teacher work days, holidays, and summer camps.

In addition to the driver is there any kind of monitor on board for the students?
A Safety Coordinator is assigned to each bus and the younger children will sit more towards the front of the bus. -
Is there supervision for younger children if they arrive to school before it begins?
Yes, there is supervision at the school for younger children as early as 7:00am. -
My child is 3 years old and requires a car seat. Are there car seats available or do I have to provide my own?
All children riding buses who are in PK3 to 5th grade will be using seatbelts only. -
