For the fourth year, we are continuing the tradition of honoring the Senior Class! With your gift, the school will dedicate a beautiful copper sculpture created by Octavio Cuellar, to honor you, the Class of 2020 and participating senior families. Everyone who supports this wonderful endeavor will also receive exclusive recognition in the Annual Report. This unique artwork will be placed outside the new Center for the Arts.
There will also be a special section honoring all seniors for their individual gifts. Thank you for continuing to make history and support our newest tradition together!
Like you, my husband Paul and I just can’t believe how quickly this year has gone by, and our daughter Nadine has only a few months left to enjoy her senior year at Miami Country Day School. Nadine has been at Country Day since 8th grade and though these years, we have seen her grow and blossom. We are grateful for the experiences she has had, the wonderful teachers and the opportunities to grow into the person she has become. As senior parents, we are thankful for our time here too, and we are excited to be part of the Class of 2017’s inaugural Senior Sculpture Tradition.
As we reflect on their senior year, and our journeys too, we are asking you to help honor your senior by joining us in participating in the Class of 2017 Senior Sculpture Tradition, which will support our Annual Giving Campaign. Since our seniors will be the first senior class to be part of the Center for the Arts (CfA), we are placing a large sculpture outside the entrance to the CfA in their honor from the parents of their class. All families who support the Senior Sculpture Tradition, as well as seniors who make their own gift, will receive exclusive recognition in the Annual Report. Thank you for making history and starting a new tradition together with your senior!

We are thrilled to be part of this wonderful new class tradition and we hope you will be too! Here are a few pictures of the sculpture being created by the artist, Octavio Cuellar.
Enjoy the next few months making wonderful memories with your senior and the rest of your family members!
