In Thursday’s Athletic Action......The Boys Varsity Basketball Team (16-10) beat University School in the District Semifinals 91-67. Trey Wilson led the way with 33 points, 17 rebounds, and 10 assists, Daltyn Simon had 18 points and 6 rebounds, Aiden Reid added 14 points, 5 rebounds, and 4 assists, and Miguel Orbe scored 13 points. The Girls Varsity Tennis Team (2-0) beat Lourdes 4-3. Gabrielle Bassette and Elian Shtern won their singles matches, and Gabrielle and Ginger Jacob, Eliana and Rebecca Apfelbaum won their doubles matches. The Boys Varsity Tennis Team (1-0) beat Divine Savior Academy 7-0. Oscar Bergier, Antonio Moura, Felipe Wills, Francisco Apraiz, and Michael Claramonte won their singles matches, and Oscar and Antonio, Eitan Deen and Ben Lustig won their doubles matches. The Boys Varsity Lacrosse Team beat Florida Christian in a pre-season game 17-2. Marcus Papunen led the way with 3 goals and 4 assists, Evan Hurwitz had 3 goals and an assist, Johnny Port added 3 goals, Oliver Kozlovski and Brady Lubetsky each had 2 goals and an assist, Grayson malamed added a goal and an assist, Ryder Rosenberg scored, and Matthew Scemla added an assist.
Today......The Girls Varsity Basketball Team travels to University School to play Westminster Academy in the District Championship at 6pm.
On Saturday.....The Boys Varsity Basketball Team travels to Westminster Academy to participate in the District Finals at 7:30pm.
