In Wednesday’s Athletic Action....
The Softball Team (5-2) beat Marathon 10-1. Collins Ames threw the complete game, allowing 2 hits while striking out 17, Maggie Houser was 3 for 5 with 2 runs scored and an RBI, and Maryam Rassif and Mariana Muniz Rodriguez each drove in 2 runs.
The Boys Middle School Tennis Team (3-4) beat Belen 7-0. Emilio Lopez, Bento Queiroz, Sam Minski, Ryan Kunde, Maurice Yammine all won their singles matches, and Raphael Puritz and Agustin Duque, Agus Jaramillo and Maurice won their doubles matches.
The Middle School Baseball Team (1-6) lost to Ransom Everglades 16-3. Jackie Solomon was 1 for 3, including a 3-run homerun.
Today....The Girls and Boys Varsity Tennis Teams host Downtown Doral Academy at 3pm in their ‘Senior Match”, the Girls and Boys Varsity Water Polo Teams participate in the Pines Charter Tournament, the Varsity Baseball Team travels to Gulliver at 4pm, and the Boys Varsity Lacrosse Team hosts North Broward Prep at 7pm.
On Friday...... the Girls Varsity Water Polo Team participates in the Pines Charter Tournament, the Girls Varsity Lacrosse Team travels to Ransom Everglades at 4:30pm, the Middle School Baseball Team hosts Westwood Christian at 4pm, and the Varsity Baseball Team hosts Ransom Everglades at 7pm.
