Late Tuesday......The Middle School Water Polo Team (0-8) lost to Ransom Everglades 6-4. Sebastian Strauss led the way with 2 goals, Denzel Asarias and Ashton Michaels each scored, and Ashton made 4 saves.
In Thursday’s Athletic Action....
The Girls Varsity Lacrosse Team (4-3) beat Miami-Palmetto High School on “Senior Night” 10-4. Isabella Galofre led the way with 4 goals, Margaux Giraud had 3 goals, Olivia Pelletier added 2 goals, Niki Rivero had a goal and an assist, Madelyn Pelletier and Arianna Castellon each had an assist, and Ella Green and Jessica Levy played well on defense.
The Middle School Water Polo Team (0-9) lost to Belen Blue 9-8 in Golden Goal overtime. Henry Werner, Sebastian Strauss and Denzel Asarias scored two goals each, and Stefano Corti, Franco Betancourt each added one, Ashton Michaels made nine saves in goal and Lorenzo Antonini blocked two.
The Boys Varsity Lacrosse Team (3-5) lost to St. Brendan on “Senior Night” in overtime 8-7. Evan Hurwitz and Oliver Kozlovski each scored 2 goals, Brady Lubetsky had a goal and an assist, Matthew Scemla and Jonny Port each scored, Marcus Papunen added 2 assists, and Luca Benito had an assist.
Today.....The Boys Varsity Baseball Team travels to University School (Bamford Park) at 5pm, the Softball Team hosts Carrollton at 5pm, and the Girls and Boys Varsity Water Polo Teams participate in the Gulliver Invitational all day.
On Saturday.....The Middle School Baseball Team hosts Marathon in a doubleheader at 10am/12:30pm, the Girls Junior Varsity Lacrosse Team travels to Ransom Everglades at 10am/11:30am, and the Girls and Boys Varsity Water Polo Teams participate in the Gulliver Invitational all day.
