In Wednesday’s Athletic Events.....The Varsity Baseball Team (0-1) lost to Riviera Prep 14-3. Avery Sinnes tripled home 2 runs, Jay Benitah and Marcus Ferrer each singled, Tanner Sennett walked twice, John Alwine made 4 putouts in the outfield, and Liam Buttacavoli pitched 3 innings. The Middle School Water Polo Team (0-2) lost to Belen 11-5. Denzel Asarias scored 3 goals, Bruno Karidis added 2 goals, Charles Possin had 2 assists, Sebastian Strauss added an assist, Ashton Michaels made 4 saves, and Lorenzo Antonini had 3 saves. The Girls Middle School Tennis Team (1-2) lost to Riviera Prep 5-2. Alexandra Holtz and Cecile Assali won their singles matches. The Boys Middle School Tennis Team (0-3) lost to Riviera Prep 7-0.
Today.......The Girls Varsity Basketball Team hosts Somerset Prep (Fort Lauderdale) at 7pm in the Regional Finals, and the Middle School Baseball Team travels to Westwood Christian at 4pm.
On Friday.......The Boys Varsity Lacrosse Team travels to Palmetto Ridge at 7pm, the Boys Varsity Baseball Team travels to Marathon at 6pm, the Softball Team hosts Oxbridge Academy at 5pm, and the Girls and Boys Varsity Water Polo Teams host the Alain Guillen Memorial Water Polo Tournament at 3/4/5/6pm. Our boys play Krop at 5pm, and the girls host Dwyer in the “senior game” at 6pm.
