In Thursday’s Athletic Action....The Boys Varsity Basketball Team (12-10) lost to Saint Andrew’s School 78-73. Trey Wilson led the way with 28 points and Miguel Orbe added 23 points.
On Friday....
The Boys Varsity Basketball Team (13-10) beat Somerset Academy-Pines 77-59. Trey Wilson led the way with 25 points and 16 rebounds, Miguel Orbe had 17 points, Aiden Reid added 15 points, 7 assists, and 5 steals, and Daltyn Simon had 11 points and 12 rebounds.
The Girls Varsity Soccer Team (4-10-2) lost to Divine Savior Academy in the District Semifinals 3-0.
In Saturday’s Events.....
Congratulations to the Girls Middle School Basketball Team (13-0). They beat Gulliver in the South Florida Middle School Semifinals 24-13, and Ransom Everglades in the Championship game 20-15. Kendall Fugate was named tournament MVP, and Micah Ressler and Vera Feinstein were named to the all-tournament team. In the Gulliver game, Kendall Fugate had 6 points, 11 rebounds, 9 steals, 2 assists, and a block, Vera Feinstein had 6 points, 4 rebounds, and 2 steals, Micah Ressler added 6 points, 14 rebounds, 2 blocks, and 3 steals, Alivia Groussman had 4 points, 7 steals, 6 rebounds, and an assist, and Willow Traster added 2 points, an assist, 4 steals, and 4 rebounds. Against Ransom, Kendall Fugate had 5 points, 10 rebounds, 10 steals, 3 assists, and 4 blocks, Simone Stern had 4 points, 6 steals, and 3 rebounds, Micah Ressler added 6 points, 10 rebounds, 3 steals, and 4 blocks, Alivia Groussman had 3 points, 7 steals, 7 rebounds, and 2 assists, and Willow Traster had 2 points, 4 rebounds, 4 steals, and an assist.
The Boys Varsity Basketball Team (14-10) beat SFA Academy 61-48. Trey Wilson had 22 points and 17 rebounds, Miguel Orbe had 18 points, and Daltyn Simon added 10 points and 10 rebounds.
The Boys Middle School (Varsity) Basketball Team (2-15) beat Florida Christian 26-22, but lost to Palmer-Trinity 25-22. Against Florida Christian, Ari Allaei led the way with 12 points, 4 steals, and 9 rebounds, Eli Zaron had 8 points, Jaxon Kessler added 4 points and 2 rebounds, and Ben Brady grabbed 4 rebounds. Against Palmer, Jaxon Kessler had 11 points, 3 rebounds, and 2 steals, Ari Allaei added 8 points and 3 rebounds, and Liam Goldstein had 4 rebounds and 2 blocks.
