Over the Holiday Break......
The Girls Varsity Basketball Team (6-7) lost to Nazareth Academy (IL) 56-44. Kaliyah Morales had 12 points, 4 steals, 6 assists, and 2 rebounds, Kayla Nelms had 12 points and 5 rebounds, Jalynn Belton added 8 points, 5 rebounds, and an assist, and Jada Johnson had 8 points, 4 rebounds, 4 steals, and 4 assists.
The Girls Varsity Basketball Team (7-7) beat Bullis School (MD) 59-54. Kaliyah Morales led the way with 15 points, 5 rebounds, 7 assists, and 2 steals, Kayla Nelms had 13 points, 9 rebounds, 3 steals, and 3 assists, Sofia Mendez added 9 points, 2 rebounds, and 2 assists, and Kennedy Deal had 9 points, 2 rebounds, and 2 assists.
The Girls Varsity Basketball Team (8-7) beat St. Mary’s (CA) 58-44. Kayla Nelms led the way with 21 points, 17 rebounds, 4 assists, and 3 blocks, Sofia Mendez had 15 points, 3 rebounds, 2 steals, Kori Edge had 12 points, 2 rebounds, and 3 steals, and Kennedy Deal had 6 points and 3 rebounds.
The Girls Varsity Basketball Team (9-7) beat Southeastern Prep 62-49. Kayla Nelms led the way with 20 points and 9 rebounds, Jalynn Belton had 10 points, 4 rebounds, 4 assists, and 3 steals, Kaliyah Morales added 8 points and 9 assists, and Sofia Mendez had 8 points, 3 rebounds, and 3 assists.
The Girls Varsity Basketball Team (9-8) lost to Montverde Academy 50-39. Kalya Nelms had 13 points and 11 rebounds, Jalynn Belton added 12 points and 4 rebounds, and Kaliyah Morales had 6 points, 2 rebounds, and 8 assists.
The Boys Varsity Basketball Team (9-7) beat Western High School 61-56. Trey Wilson led the way with 15 points, 13 rebounds, and 8 assists, Malik Charles had 18 points and 3 rebounds, Aiden Reid added 15 points, 4 assists, and 3 steals, and Ashton Reid had 6 points and 6 rebounds.
The Boys Varsity Basketball Team beat Perry (KY) 86-68. Trey Wilson had 20 points, 15 rebounds, and 6 assists, Daltyn Simon added 14 points and 7 rebounds, Aiden Reid had 11 points and 3 rebounds, and Ashton Reid had 8 points and 8 rebounds.
The Boys Varsity Basketball Team lost to Buford 59-39. Trey Wilson had 17 points and 6 rebounds, and Daltyn Simon added 4 points and 8 rebounds.
The Boys Varsity Basketball Team beat SFA Academy 84-53. Dylan Johnson led the way with 23 points, Trey Wilson had 15 points and 7 rebounds, and Ashton Reid and Aiden Reid each added 6 points and 7 rebounds,
The Boys Varsity Basketball Team lost to Central Pointe 75-53. Trey Wilson had 15 points and 8 rebounds, Malik Charles added 13 points and 3 rebounds, and Miguel Orbe had 13 points and 3 rebounds.
Today.....There are no games or matches scheduled for today.
On Tuesday......The Girls Middle School Soccer Team hosts Carrollton at 3:30pm, and the Girls Varsity Soccer Team hosts Westminster Academy at 5pm.
In Wednesday’s Action.....The Boys Varsity Basketball Team travels to Blanche Ely at 6pm, the Girls, Boys (JV), and Boys (Varsity) Basketball Teams host Westminster Christian at 4/5/6pm, and the Boys Junior Varsity Basketball Team travels to America Heritage-Plantation at 5:30pm.
