In Wednesday’s Athletic Action....
The Girls Varsity Basketball Team (21-8) beat Providence School in the State Semifinal game 60-38.
The Middle School Water Polo Team (0-3) lost to Ransom Everglades 7-4. Denzel Arias, Stefano Corti, Bruno Karides, and Henry Werner all scored, Ashton Michaels made 8 saves, and Lorenzo Antonini blocked 3 shots.
The Middle School Baseball Team (0-3) lost to Palmer-Trinity 12-1. Dylan Dennis was 1 for 2, Nino Riccardi was 1 for 2 with an RBI, and Jackie Solomon and Mack Schwadron turned a double-play.
The Varsity Baseball Team (0-4) lost to Miami High 20-1. Parker Zaron was 1 for 2 with a triple, Quinn Smith drove in a run, and Marcus Ferrer and Liam Buttacavoli each played well on defense.
Today.....The Girls and Boys Middle School Tennis Teams host Doral Academy at 3pm, the Girls and Boys Varsity Tennis Teams travel to Cushman (Sans Souci Tennis Center) at 2:30pm, the Girls Varsity Lacrosse Team hosts Western High School at 5pm, the Softball Team travels to Colonial Christian at 3:30pm, and the Boys Varsity Lacrosse Team travels to Gulliver at 4pm.
On Friday......The Girls Varsity Basketball Team plays Cardinal Mooney in the State Championship game in Lakeland at 5:30pm, the Middle School Water Polo Team travels to Belen to play at 4:35/5:25/7:05pm, and the Varsity Baseball Team hosts Palmer-trinity at 7pm.
