Summer Program Questions

Questions about what will happen with Summer Programs.
What is the plan for Miami Country Day School’s summer programming and camps?

• We are closely monitoring federal and state regulations along with recommendations from the CDC. In addition to our usual summer programming, we are also working diligently on an array of virtual camp and academic offerings to roll out this summer for all grade levels in conjunction with any in-person experiences we are able to offer.
  • Summer Camps: At this time, there has been no change in plans for summer camp. In addition to our traditional camps, we will also be offering a variety of virtual programs, everything from day camp to sports camps, and more.
  • Academic Courses: We will be offering a range of for-credit, online, and hybrid courses across a variety of disciplines for grades 6-12. For grades PK-5 we will be offering a variety of academic readiness and enrichment programs.
  • Gateway Experiences: These cultural enrichment and community service opportunities will be available online for students in grades 6-12.
• Virtual camps are scheduled to begin on June 1, with in-person camps beginning as soon as they are permitted. Academic Courses and Gateway Experiences will begin on June 22. Information about registration and cost will be released later this week.
